New moon October 21st 2025

Close to the time of the new moon, Saturn forms a disharmonious aspect with the Sun and the Moon. This can make you doubt yourself, giving you the feeling that you’re not good enough and pushing you to seek recognition through various efforts. Be careful that this feeling doesn’t turn inward, making you bitter. Jupiter isn’t helping either that day – it may lead you to take on too much, to bluff, or to exaggerate your emotions. Jupiter is also in opposition to Chiron, which may trigger an old wound, possibly through something you see around you. Try to understand how the outside world affects you, as that also holds the opportunity to heal old pain. Look at yourself from above, see the bigger picture, take your personality out of the equation for a moment, and then step back into yourself. With your new insights and from a place of perspective, pick up the (desired) thread again.
During the new moon, it’s especially important not to blow things out of proportion: the solutions lie in simplicity.

The Moon is next to the Sun in Libra, bringing the theme of balance and harmony to the forefront for the third time. Venus is also in Libra, although not right next to the Moon and Sun. This gives you heightened sensitivity when it comes to maintaining harmony between and with the people around you. While that’s helpful for others, it can be draining for you! So, make sure to give yourself enough time to recharge in a pleasant place. Also, feel into where you need more balance in your life. In what area are you out of alignment? What do you want, can you do, and will you do about it?

Later in the day, the Moon moves from Libra to Scorpio. Then the Moon squares Pluto (another tension aspect): emotionally, you may experience extremes (all or nothing), and you might feel psychological power within yourself or try to exert it over others. Dominance can also become a theme. Before blaming others, ask yourself whether there’s an insecurity or hidden emotion within you that’s causing you to project onto someone else. Pluto helps bring hidden things to the surface, but you need the courage to face them – especially within yourself.

Neptune is retrograde and will temporarily move from Aries back into Pisces on October 22. Saturn is also retrograde, already further along in Pisces. There’s now a temporary distance between these two planets, giving you a chance to clearly experience which material things are truly important to you, and who or what you are when those things are no longer present. The point is to understand that, at your core, you are not a temporary and material being, but infinite. At the same time, you’re having a human experience and through that, you can deeply learn or remember that you are a creative being! You are everything and have everything within you. On this planet of free will, you get to co-create, chart new paths, and guide your life according to a higher knowing.

A strong foundation is, of course, essential, otherwise, you’re just surviving. So ask yourself: In what ways can you strengthen or improve your foundation (home, belongings, finances, etc.)? How much time do you want to dedicate to making your dreams come true? How can you bring your head and heart more in alignment and let them work together? The new galactic human wants to be born (within us!) – give yourself space, expand your world instead of limiting it, and trust in your own potential and inner knowing.
