Astrologically around the full moon of October 26, 2026

On October 23, the Sun enters the sign of Scorpio, and with that, in the Northern Hemisphere, nature enters a time of death and decay. What does not survive will be absorbed into the earth. What does survive will quietly hide until spring returns. It is a good time to determine what you will carry with you into the next cycle and what has run its course and can be left behind. What transformation is it time for in your life? Trans-formation means that another form emerges. What you have learned, understood, and come to realize, you take with you and begin applying at a higher level.

On October 26, the full moon is (in the early morning) opposite the Sun in Taurus. This makes you aware of earthly values as well as your own inner worth. Make a list, for example, of five core values in your life. Do you make enough time for them? Do you need to let something else ‘die’ in order to make room for them (by spending less time on distractions)? Realize that after life and death… comes rebirth. Go for the upward spiral in your life!

The Moon trine the Black Moon helps you remember what has value to your soul and what foundation you need. During the full moon, you may be especially sensitive to what other people need, but don’t forget yourself. Try to experience that ‘home’ is found within yourself; you are more than your physical body, because all your memories, lifetimes, and knowledge are part of you. The art is to make time, in this busy and intense world, to experience your true self.

Around the days of the full moon, the Sun and Uranus are in a tense relationship with one another. Both on a small and a large scale, this can mean that there is tension in the world, that a sudden change in the way of life occurs (for example, imprisonment and being called up for military service are mentioned literally), or that accidents and catastrophes take place on a global level. So there are plenty of distractions. Tune in to yourself and reconnect with what your values are, how you want to show up in the world, and which choices align with that. Dare to be true to your own wisdom (rather than impulsive and erratic), fight for something (instead of against something), and create order (clarity and structure) in your life. This period can evoke a kind of primal survival instinct. Seek out like-minded people, community, and share (opinions, belongings, time, and help).

The Sun is also in a tense relationship with Pluto, which can bring personal and global themes around overestimating oneself, the desire to dominate, and hunger for power. Leadership can mean taking responsibility for making decisions about your own life. Sometimes you don’t realize how much control you actually have, and therefore you don’t need to give your power away, or impose it on others. What creative power flows through you, and how do you want to use it in a constructive way?
